TBT: Revival Experience- Featuring Shakey Graves, Nathaniel Rateliff, Glorietta and More

Shakey Graves will be playing the Met on Saturday (9/21/19) with hometown heroes Dr. Dog and Liz Cooper the Stampede. So to get prepped for the show I decided to take a second pass at my shots from the Revival Experience. Revival was an incredible music event that I attended earlier this year at SXSW. The event featured intimate performances from Shakey and Nathaniel Rateliff along with tunes from Glorietta and Patty Griffin.

The events intimacy and low key vibes were such a nice change of speed from the hectic pace that was surrounding Austin during SXSW. The performances were also super unique and intimate, with Shakey playing solo with his iconic suitcase kick drum and Nathaniel playing deep cuts solo and tearing up during a tribute song to the recently passed Richard Swift.
